Like many of you, I am a hydrangea enthusiast. I don't sell plants, and I don't have a degree in horticulture, but I greatly admire those who do. I'm a member of the CSRA Hydrangea Society (GA/SC) and the American Hydrangea Society.

Everyone who grows hydrangeas loves them because they provide pleasure year round. I especially enjoy learning about the different types of hydrangeas and keeping up with the latest developments in the field.

It has been my very good fortune to have worked for a wonderful nursery in North Augusta, SC, for many years - Nurseries Caroliniana. Ted and Gerald Stephens are the owners. Nurseries Caroliniana is an outstanding wholesale and retail nursery that carries hundreds of plants, growing over 70 varieties of hydrangeas.

My husband and I now live in Falls Church, VA, where, I can enjoy the PeeGee hydrangea as well as the beautiful mophead hydrangea. H. paniculata 'Grandiflora' grows beautifully in this area.

My greatest pleasure is sharing what I have learned about hydrangeas and having others share their hydrangea experiences with me. Having corresponded with hundreds of people who have problems with and comments about hydrangeas, I can share the knowledge I have gained from these people as well as from my own experiences.

Happy Hydrangeas,

Judith King
